long time no post...

What a strange thing life is sometimes. I was doing ok for a good few months and then things go spectacularly wrong again in the space of a few weeks. Why is it when things go wrong for me, they REALLY go wrong?! Does anyone else get this?

I'm still off the drink which is making dealing with this latest "episode" very hard going for me. Managing not to cut at the moment but I'm getting closer to it - anyone got any tips on how I can avoid it altogether?

Hope some of the "oldies" are still around: Fi, IsoM etc. Hope everyone's doing ok anyway.

ELA.

Hiya

I've sort of drifted off the Boards myself, but just dropped by today.

Sorry things have gone so wrong. I get a mixture of things- sometimes they dont go very wrong, but sometimes plunge from OK to full crisis scenario. Its very hard to deal with.

*Well done* for staying off the drink- that's a huge achievement. I'm no expert on cutting, but if there is anything non-harmful that helps reduce the tension, it would be worth trying? Dont know what that might be- relaxation, music, exercise, talking to someone, any practical things to sort out any problems? Sitting in a hot bath eating Mars bars?! Not meaning to be flippant- I just really hope you find some other way of coping.

At the moment I have continuing but not crisis level stresses in my life, so feeling rather sad, but not having a really hard time. Thinking about it, I think that's part of why I looked at the Board again today after weeks- feeling stroppy about work so its a way of not working! Dont feel like sharing tho, and I am doing OK.

I'm glad you dropped by the Boards too. Hope you get some more ideas from other posters re staying away from cutting.

Hang on in there.

Fi
