Manic Episodes

Posted by Angel Girl on July 5, 2002, at 16:05:02

Does anybody here that has manic episodes like them? If so, do you know if there is any way to induce one???

I know this probably sounds really weird asking these questions but I only seem to be 'happy' when I am manic and I haven't had a manic episode in a very long time. I want to feel that way again. I do not harm myself or others while manic so there is no risk of that. I just would like to know if there is a way I can bring one on so that I can experience some happiness if just for one day???

So tired of the depression.

Angel
I love being in my manic phases. I have so much creativity and adventurousness. It's wonderful but sadly, I don't know how to 'bring one on'
I wish I did. I unfortunately also get a tonne of anxiety when I'm in a manic phase but the lighter tone of my mood makes up for that.
I wish I could give you an answer.
Still thinkin about ya

I don't get any anxiety while manic. I just have extreme euphoria. Why does the only good thing about this freakin disease have to leave and then I'm only left with the extreme opposite, depression and suicidal once again. I want the better side back. :(
