I also heard a song with you in it. The song was;"Walking After Midnight"..Patsy Klien. The song has the phrase"weeping willow" in it.
Roy Orbison was a classic in his own time and one of his best was, "Crying (over you)" .The one that I heard was not that one. I will try to remember.

While I was away, the "Faith" board was established here. What board do you think my telling of my experiance on the Road should be on? Is it on the "social" board because it is my telling of what I actually experianced or would it be on the "faith" board because it is my telling of a spiritual experiance?

The religion board is by far the best place for you to talk about your story... People found some of your posts about it upsetting on here, so if you could stick to talking about it on that board I know we would all be much happier.

Thank you for being interested in my experiance. You said that people found some of my posts upsetting. Could you tell me of what one or more of those posts talked about that was "upsetting?"
I feel that if you explain what was upsetting, then I can have a better understanding of the content that you are referring to and try to modify or delete the "upsetting" content.

There are scores of religions and religious experiences Lou. Because yours is of a specific kind, some, who are either of other religion or athiest, find your posts fuel for debate. Fires die out if there is no fuel so I suggest you keep the religious aspects of your transformation on the religion board.

No particular part Lou, just the general concept of your religious experiences. Liek Tina said, It causes debate and argumant which is then painful for the whole board.
the Religion board was set up specifically for you kind of message, so I think its best if you keep anything religious to that board.

Thank you for your interest in the music.
The reason that I posted the music was that those songs were some that I heard while I was away the past 4 weeks and I thought that if there were others that may have heard the same song, then possibly there could be some significance to the song.
Also, if others told of what songs that they heard, perhaps there would be some significance to that. Was there any paticular song that you heard in the past 4 weeks?

Maybe existence has its own significance without our having to search for clues to prove that it is. Maybe 'being' is its own gift its own joy, and its own clue. :D
Also, if your motive _is_ to discuss the possible significance of songs -- we're off to the faith board. Make sense?

Lots of art has historical significance, but only you can determine what makes it significant for you. What it means to others, as well as its place in history, may help you to understand and appreciate another way of thinking or even the work of art itself. But the fact that we may have heard the same songs is pretty insignificant, especially in light of the recent modern payola scandals and the homogenization of radio stations. (Froggy ____, Lite FM, and ____ Rock stations are all over the U.S. playing the same crap dictated to them by record companies. The music is often pre-taped in sequence, so D.J.s not only don't pick it, but they don't have to cue up a CD, either.)
I heard a new song by Alanis Morisette while I was on vacation in the Finger Lakes. It was really good. (I have always liked her music and voice.) But it's not particularly significant. And if you'd heard that song too, it wouldn't have made it any more significant.
I also heard Van Morrison's "Brown-Eyed Girl." Hearing it was not significant, but the song itself is, for me. I have (and now my daughter has) big brown eyes (though mine are a lot older and puffier); that song is the brown-eyed girl's anthem. It was nice for her to hear it for the first time on the radio during our family road trip.

Thank you for your concern about my hearing songs and wanting to know if others heard the same songs.
I am interested in what your reasons would be for this topic (of me asking others if they heard the same songs as I did in the last 4 weeks) to be catorigised as faith, and then be placed on the faith board.
If you explain that to me, then I can have a better understanding of the definition of what should be on the faith board and post accordingly.

For some of us having to see proof is like for others wanting food. For myself I can't describe it, but the urge certainly has it's bonuses. I'm like a sponge at times looking for reasoning to quench an unquenchable thirst.

As I always say this is one of my many opinions so it may not reflect the same image that others see. Songs may be about faith, but they are also much apart of our sense of self which can translate into just being social. Religion use to be a very social activity but now society is very diverse that our religious faiths don't dictate who we socialize with anymore or which drummer we prefer to listen to too.

ps everytime i hear the christmas carol about the little drummer boy it reminds me of my husband's grandmother and for some unkown reason fills me with bittersweet feelings as she is gone from this world, but would i choose not to listen to the song because it wrenches my insides, oh not me, my emotional being enjoys the pain as much as i look forward to a good strong wind, and speaking of winds a north wind has come down cooling things off enough so i can pack and begin my journey, and miracously things always work out for me this way, and i take pleasure in thinking that a god smiles favourly on this child

I am serching for , perhaps, a clue of another sort. You see, I hear music. I hear music when there is no music playing, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. My condition is shared by about 50 people in the history of the world, Ludwig von Beethoven being one of them. There is no proven cure or treatment for this condition. I am trying to find some connection so that the music will stop. Perhaps there is some connection to the songs that others hear on this board.
Can you tell me any of the songs that you heard in the last 4 weeks?
