I dislike sports myself (hate competitive team sports) yet even I've heard of Ty Cobb - you probably have too. Here's a short bit about him:

Ty Cobb supposedly suffered from bipolar disorder.

What he achieved despite the things that happened in
his life was quite remarkable.

He had a notoriously "strong" personality. Some called
him nasty and despicable. He hated the fact that other people didn't
work as hard as he did.

I wonder who "they" are in his quote?

"They" are the bipolar gremlins in my life.
