After Dr. Morganstern told me that he was forced by the Nazis to be a doctor in a death camp, he started to tell me of an experiance that he had there. He said," they made me work the captives into slavery untill they died from starvation or thirst. I would tske them in the woods to lead them to a stream. The waters were still and they found rest .I would prepare a table in front of them with the food and drink that their enemies deprived them of. And one day a White Horse came out of the brush. The Rider was in full Nazi regaillia. We all looked up and He said," " If any man thirsts, let him drink. and later out of him shall flow rivers of living water." I asked Him who He was. He said, "I have been sent by the Father." One said, Show us the Father." The Rider answered, "If you see me, you see the Father." "I must go but I will send you a comforter to enable you to endure this Hell."
Then He said, "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."

Dr. Morganstern then told me that he asked the Rider why he and the others were visited upon. He told me that the Rider answered, "You have been chosen to be God's own special people that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of the darkness into His marvelous light."
I was perplexed at this and asked Dr. Morganstern to tell me more as to what that meant.
I will tell you, next, what Dr. Morganstern said as to what the Rider meant.

Yes, this all happenened to me. It is as clear today as it was 30 years ago. But I must reveal the last 2 Gates before this will be clear to others. Now there may be others out there that have experianced similar things as I am revealing here. Have you ever experianced anything like what I am writing hear?

But if 'I' came home 30 years ago to my mother and step-father and said that I saw all of what you witnessed, I would get a free ride to the state hospital. I'm not saying you're crazy but if I said it to any friend or family they would be rightfully concerned. You're no dummy, Lou. Actually, I think it's great to be as firm about your beliefs and it has probably made you a better person. But I'm no dummy either. This could not happen outside of a drug induces psychosis or some kind of temporary psychosis, IMHO.
The rider was parroting Christ. Unless you're Mormon, I don't believe Christ has been to our neck of the woods. Mormon's say he has and one of my best friends got the Mormon thing happening and has moved to Utah. We were in a band together and were close. He now only talks about his faith, which is fine, as long as he's telling someone else. I don't believe the Mormon's story. I also couldn't see myself belonging to a religion that believes in some sort of spiritual underwear. From what I've heard, Mormon's do represent some great family values. That doesn't make me want to join.
I think there was a mention of the church being compared to the dark ages or whatever. I work with a part-time Baptist preacher; he fills in if a church in Austin needs him. He walks the walk and is a great guy. Doesn't force any beliefs on you but rather exemplify's his faith. One of the nicest people I know. Even he says the church has done a lousy job handling mental illness and often does much harm claiming a depressed person just needs more faith. All church's, most anyway, are having to play catch up on mental illness issues.
This is also the first time in history that there are more divorces inside the church than outside.The man I work with attracts me to religion because he walks the walk and doesn't demand anything. But if I came into work every morning and he cornered me in the breakroom to enlighten me, he just lost my 10%.
I think C.S. Lewis, in Mere Christianity, said that only 15% of people that go to church do so for any intrinsic value. I have no doubt that he's right. Preachers know that as soon as 85% of the congregation leaves the building, if they even heard the message, will forget it before they get home or to the golf course.
The biggest sin in Christ's eyes was pride. Sex, stealing, murder, jealousy and all the rest stem from pride. I know I've got much to learn.
Along that same line he said,"That's why a self-righteous prig sitting in a church pew can be devoid of any true relationship with God. However, a prostitute on the street to survive the only way she knows how can call out to God and he's there.I know I've strayed here, as usual, but here's the end. God's watching and looking out for us whether we believe or not.
And I agree with an old guitar player friend, who in 1970 told me,"I don't need no middleman."The way I see things on this board is that God is nothing less than thrilled with the way we freely support each other and ask little in return. That's how my God works, and if he ever speaks out loud to me, I'll be hiding in the closet.

--That's exactly what attracts me, and it can easily be argued that that was what Christ "preached" from Biblical and Historical references.

(I just got a book on St. Francis of Assisi - he tried to live his life as Christ did. Interesting thus far).

Thank you for jopining this discussion. But I am not sure that you are saying that christ did not demand anything from the people that he preached to. Could you clarify that? I would like to answer to that statement but I am unsure exactly what you meant by it. Your cooperation in explaining that further would be appreciated.

When I came back from the City of Peace, I read the bible and read that there were people that also had the same experiance. I also asked myself if I had been temp. insane. But I reasoned that if the apostle Paul had the same experiance, then why couldn't I have also had the same experiance. I actually believe that God visited me and since I believe that He is not a respector of persons which means that He will also visit evryone, for I believe that He is a God of justice.
When I was in the City of Peace, I was told ,"Behold, I will come as a theif in the night."

I would like to know the name of this City in which one must go through the seven gates to enter into? Don't go into a bunch of babble please, I only want to know the NAME of this CITY. I have read that it is called the City of Peace, the city of light, etc.. But what is the NAME and where is it located?

Thank you for your interest in the City of Peace.
The City of Peace is Jeru Sholom, which in Hebrew, means city of peace. There are many Jerusalems. There is the Jerusalem of ancient history. The Anointed one was called The Prince of Salem, or the Prince of Peace. There is the Jerusalem of today. But there is a greater Jerusalem that I am talking about. It is the spiritual Jerusalem that exists in all of our hearts. We can all go there. But I was actually taken to an actual city that I have described. I am trying to lead others also to that great city. There is a description of the city in the Bible. I have already described it, and you may have seen that post at the begginning. When anyone walks through those Gates to that City, they will be free at last.

Thank you for your quick response. I was curious about this city because of the fact that I know of such a city. A city called the "New Jerusalem" Which also is spiritual. But there are 12 gates to this city. To get to this city you must go through a door. This door is Jesus Christ. You must come to him humbly repenting of your sins and ready to start a new life . A life where one is in a constant battle to crucify the flesh and the lusts thereof so that Christ can abide within. You see, until one has totally crucified the old man ( the man of sin) you can never enter into this city. No SIN can enter in through those gates. Only the pure the righteous and holy shall enter into this city. Also it is not an easy thing to enter into this city. For there will be many strive to enter in and not be able. And the requirements are total submission to the will of God in your heart & your life. You have to decide are you truly ready to give yourself totally over to the will of God. There is so much more I could tell you about this city. But we were left a road map that tells us all that we need to know. All one has to do is seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you, ask and it shall be given. No charge.

Yes, the city of peace is the NEW jerusalem. It is described in the last chapters of the book of Revelation. Ther are 12 Gates, each a gigantic pearl. And the Gates are open. In my last 2 Gates, I will explain pretty much what you have said.But the Rider on the White Horse is not the world's jesus. It is free, but there are things that you must overcome. He that overcomes will be given the Crown of Life. I am telling how I overcame. But you have been there also. And where two or more are gathered in my name, I will be in the midst of them. Plese stay, just a little bit longer.

Yes, I must agree with you about the overcoming part. You must be an overcomer to have rights to anything pertaining to this city. That is where crucifying the old an comes in. We have to overcome sin, the works of the flesh, which is explained in the book of Galtians chapter 5. We must be led of the Spirit and not of the flesh. For we will reap what we have sown. If we have sown to the flesh we will reap corruption, but if we have sown to the Spiti we will reap life everlasting. The beautiful crown of eternal LIFE. One's worst enemy on this journey to this city is one's self. Our will has to die. We have to seek the will of God. God is love and he that loveth is born of God. If we love we will not be trangressing his laws. We will not break his commandments. We will abide in the word and the word will abide in us. Revelations tells us that they overcame by the word of their testimony & by the blood of the Lamb. Jesus is that LAMB, the lamb that was slain for our sins. He died so that we could have that crown of life that you are speaking about. He gave his life freely. Now we must give our lives freely when we come under submission to the SPIRIT and not to the will of the flesh.
