The next day

Posted by akc on December 7, 2001, at 7:56:13

Wanted to report that I managed to get 8 1/2 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I took 100 mg of trazadone (which I have been doing for a while) plus all my other meds plus finally took the .5 mg of klonopin. I don't know if it was the meds or the fact I haven't been sleeping, but once I fell asleep, I don't think my body moved for the next 8 1/2 hours. I purposely did not set my alarm, so I am way late for work. But I knew that sleep was becoming a critical factor.

I am feeling really depressed this morning. Besides that, I don't really know yet. Maybe still a bit doped. Hopefully I may avoid getting so worked up today (and instead can just work, period).

Just an update. In my obsessive need to let you know everything.

(CAM -- hopefully I will just become Akc -- not all CAPS, but not all tiny either -- a nice balance.
:-) All caps feels like a bully to me!)

Fab that you got some much needed sleep, shame that you don't feel so much better for it.

Remember, as important as work feels, you're the number 1 concern, and maybe its time to have a short time out from the shot of working life.. just a few days, maybe a week of time where you don;t need to worry about getting there and not freaking out.

hang in there hun...

Just to say glad to hear you got a decent night's sleep (whatever re work). I dont have any wise ideas but I'm sure I'm one of several who sympathises.

I sleep pretty well most nights, and know I am v lucky. Managed to laugh at myself this am: woke after 5 hours decent sleep (for which grateful), and then an hour or so later got back to sleep and then had the most ridiculous nightmare. So actually rather pleased when alarm went off..

But I do know how exhausting it is when you really cant sleep.
