Greg, wanna get this off my chest.

I find myself harbouring a resentment towards you and I feel it is time to clear the air.

Of course this stems from my recent banishment from ASH. And while it was not permanent and you did offer re-instatement, I felt that I could not rejoin the community given the circumstances under which I was removed. Even on the day that I was removed I had strong suspicions as to why. These suspicions turned out to be correct. I did not react on those suspicions; instead I emailed you, questioning why my logon did not work. You originally chose to ignore that email. I spoke with "you know who" about what was going on. We sorted things out and it was acknowleged that an error in judgement had occurred. Apologies were made and accepted. It was not until further discussion regarding the banishment was had that you decided to take action, but not responsibility. You finally chose to acknowlege my original email by simply stating that since I was aware of the situation you would re-instate my membership upon my application. I replied to you, stating how feelings had been hurt and the disappointment I felt in being treated as I was. At that time I could not comfortably return to the community that is ASH.

I feel contempt for your actions and the fact that you are not willing to admit that you made a mistake. You may be the owner and creator of ASH and as such wield a certain power over who uses it. But there should be an underlying responsibility to it's membership. I was tried and convicted on the basis of one (admittedly paranoid) accusation. Without any investigation you summarily chose to pass judgement on me, without my knowledge or explanation.

When I broached the subject here in PSB you claimed (granted I heard this second hand) that you were upset that it had been aired in a public forum and that it should have been dealt with by email. That had been tried originally and you chose to ignore it.

There, I've said my piece. Maybe now I can put this behind me. The ball is now in your court, you may choose to ignore this or you may (I hope) initiate a dialog. Perhaps we can patch things up.

Rik,

If you want to have a conversation about this, I'll be glad to. I still have your e-mail and I'll respond to it this afternoon. But Bob's forum certainly isn't the place for it.
