Willow - My little one starts grade 1, as well. After a year of kindergarten, she thinks that she is a pro with this school thing.

Cool! The peace and quiet can be SO nice. But don't be surprised if you miss the noise, maybe just a little...

I've got one who's married, one going into her first year of high school, and one starting middle school. College, now THAT'S what I'm looking forward to!

I hope you're doing well Lady Willow.

The school is just over yonder. I can go sit across the road from them with the new pup and listen for awhile. Honestly, I think it'll take a month so I don't hear them despite their departure.

That I call bittersweet! Grandchildren to look forward to, they are returnable. And teenagers, there's an age I only want to visit in my memories.

Now I don't think I've been called a lady. I guess you have a fairly active imagination too! I'll try not to stir the reflection.

Hi,

I never thought my little ones would EVER get out of diapers. Now the oldest 22 is employed, the young one amost 18, is on his way to uppergraduate studies in college, though living at home to same money. I look at our family picture taken in '97 and wonder, what will I do when they are both gone? As someone said, 'then every room will be a bedroom'.

Bedrooms ...

*As someone said, 'then every room will be a bedroom'.

Enjoy! My dream is to go to their house and asks what's for supper. Eat, leave the dishes, flick through their channels, complain about their selection of music, and then have a quick shower and leave the towel on the floor.

My eldest, 10, is already talking about going to the local college to save money. My youngest figures I'll drive him to this rock quarry where he plans to work building roads and bridges. Middles child wants to be a mom like me except have no children and work at McDonalds.

Reality, they may not be leaving!?

Hoy, thank for the belly laugh. I am going to threaten them with is in my next email lol!

As to your children and their plans, what have they been smoking?

When my oldest was going to local U, I would offer to drive him if I was going that way. One day he said, 'this is really embarrassing, having my MOM drive me to college.'

They better not be smoking anything, he was four at the time and I don't think he had realized that he will grow up and leave his mother. Now they will not let me kiss them in public anymore. I sneak them in.

The worst is when they suggest I didn't sleep good and go have a nap! And I always feel better after one! Lord help us when my children are in charge of our care.

Willow

Yup especially when they are so understanding (np)
