Waiting to see ...

Posted by Willow on July 23, 2001, at 21:27:07

what the wind will blow up! The air has finally begun to stir around here and outside has cooled off, it'll be nice once the humidity leaves the house.

Hopefully it'll be able to send me back to earth. I spent the day going through the archives. Okay I know I need to get a life. At first I thought I would stay off the board forever, but that is such a longtime, so I reasoned two months. By the time I got around to posting I've settled on a week. Taking my first mini-holiday in over eight years, going to Canada's Wonderland on Sunday. After my return from there I'll end my self-imposed exile.

If I break my promise to myself I want you cyber friends to practise tough-love on me, ignore my voice. Okay it's 10:30 I guess I won't start until tomorrow or midnight, whichever comes first?

Do I sound like a babaholic?

Confused

Willow, before you exile yourself, what is "Canada's Wonderland"? Asked with Americentric curiousity.

I'm not Canadian, and I've never been to Canada, but I can take a guess, is it a theme park who's attractions revolve around great people in canadian history?

Brian Adams Wild Ride
You can't do that on television in our theme park!
Rush fantastic river rafts
Lil' Alanis Morisette's rockin roller coster (special tie-in deal w/ you can't do that on television)
Bob n' Doug's Drink-Till-You-Puke Labats Brewery Tour.

....just my bit of humor for the day... nothing against Canada, though as a guy from the states, lets not kid ourselves, we -could- take you in a war! :)

Kid A - Don't tempt a distraught soul.
Shelli - It is a theme park, do a search on the internet. Looks like the wind isn't blowing hard enough and it may still be too hot for me! The exchange is great for you guys.

When Aries and Leo come together, the sparks tend to fly! Both Signs are passionate and dynamic, with a healthy spirit of competition thrown in. They push each other to accomplish more and better things, and there is a lot of action in this partnership. Both Signs can be impatient and proud, and Aries may be bothered by Leo's flirting, but their relationship is always exciting. Despite their sometimes noisy differences, Aries often looks to Leo as a guide or counselor. Leo is the Lion, the leader, while Aries can be the lamb. As in the myth of the Lion and the Lamb, with a little work and a lot of patience their differences can be overcome and life can be harmonious. Aries may be irritated by Leo's bossiness and tendency to sulk. With Aries as the initiator and Leo as the one who follows through, they both have their niche within the partnership.

This is me:
You have a good imagination, and often exhibit sensitivity to others.

At times, you may tend to be overly sensitive to criticism. You can be excessively cautious or narrow in your outlook unless you receive the right kind of encouragement.

You are a warm hearted person, with much love to give. You probably like children, and exhibit many playful characteristics. Sometimes you feel jealous, and must avoid becoming overly possessive in your relationships.

Sometimes you feel jealous, and must avoid becoming overly possessive in your relationships.

There may be times in your life when you give in to feelings of sadness or depression.

You are likely to make decisions based on intuition or feelings rather than intellect.

Your personality is dynamic and attractive to most people. The more branches you find in your heart line, the more friends and lovers you will have. Your sincerity and compassion make people like you even more.

There are inconsistencies in your energy level, possibly triggered by external factors or emotional changes.

You have a basically strong constitution, and should enjoy good health most of the time.

You are likely to make many changes in the direction of your life. This may be based on interruptions due to health problems, or it may be that you just have trouble focusing your energy.

No matter what other factors influence your personality, there is an under lying sense of practicality that you can draw on if you wish.

You have a good imagination, and often exhibit sensitivity to others.

There is a tremendous amount of intensity in your mental processes. Your ability to concentrate is excellent. At times you have the ability to focus your mind so strongly that the rest of the world is shut out.

At times, you may tend to be overly sensitive to criticism. You can be excessively cautious or narrow in your outlook unless you receive the right kind of encouragement.

You have so many interests that you may have trouble deciding which ones to pursue. This can make you seem very contradictory, since you are so passionate and sincere about each new idea you embrace.

The general flexibility of your character is a useful attribute. At certain times in your life, you may have romantic conflicts and difficulty maintaining friendships. You will overcome these problems after a little introspection.

You are a warm hearted person, with much love to give. Your high energy level enhances your ability to express affection.

There may be times in your life when you give in to feelings of sadness or depression.

You are likely to make decisions based on intuition or feelings rather than intellect.

You are naturally charming and inclined to be flirtatious.

At certain times in your life, you may have romantic conflicts and difficulty maintaining friendships. These problems are not likely to last long.

There are inconsistencies in your energy level, possibly triggered by external factors or emotional changes.

Your high energy level draws people to you.

You have a basically strong constitution, and should enjoy good health most of the time.

You were probably given a good start in life by your parents. This could be based on your general upbringing, or on physical characteristics you inherited.

There is a strong intuitive side to your nature, which may border on psychic or mystical ability.
