Wanna 2 hr. break from life?

Posted by Kristi on May 20, 2001, at 18:27:22

Watch "What Woman Want". It was such a funny/clever movie, I was glued to the t.v. And guys, it's not really a "chick flick"..... I think most men would like it too. I know this has nothing to do with psychology... but if you feel like a laugh.........

Am tempted. Helen hunt is great! Anyone see as good as it gets on UK BBC1 resently. I thought it was uplifting, but wonder what an OCD person would think >?

My idea of a "2 hr. break from life" is the two hours it takes to fly to RIO, one way.
Such lovely beaches ... white sand ... swaying palms ... sweaty palms ... THONGS!

Wait a minute....are y'all talking about the same movie? Helen Hunt was in "As Good as it Gets" with Jack Nicholson, who has severe OCD (I saw that movie), and then was in "What Women Want" with Mel Gibson (I didn't see that one). Does he have OCD too???

Stereotype ...

I did see both movies and enjoyed them. I think Nicolson did a good job, though I don't know anyone with OCD. There was a small part throughout "What Women Want" of a person with suicidal thoughts. I think the role was very stereotypical. Low self-esteem, just a better-job, etc.
