Could someone give me more information on bipolar depression. I think my Father and two sisters have it. I am interested in the behaviour of bipolar people. Thanks

James here....

Try a search on http://www.google.com on "bi polar", the first
2 pages of hits contain several good basic pages.

I have BiPolar II. My symptoms consist of rapid cycling (changing of high and low moods frequently), manic behavior (spending sprees, eating binges, doing everything to excess) and some deep depression (occasional suicidal thoughts, deep funks, very low self esteem).

I take Zyprexa (2.5 mgs-5mgs a day) and Neurontin (900 mgs a day). This combo has worked out very well for me. I went thru a lot of other meds before finding the right ones, so it can take some time.

Just type Bipolar into most any search engine and it should bring back some informative sites to help you out.

Best of luck and I hope this helps.

Greg
