Nikki, at the risk of being "typecast" by others here with whom I differ on the issue of humor boundaries, Let me say that I hate that you feel badly here, and sad that you are hurt. I think I understand why.
I want you around. I like you and I think you were brave to share your opinion.
I am skipping threads I find upsetting. Can you stick around and try that too?

I am very seriously, not an easily offended person, but Mark's post was kinda the last straw...

Nikki, have you seen the most recent posts in that thread? There is now a dialogue going on about it. Perhaps it might help to see Mark's response to Dr. Bob.

I see it.. I see no real apology though. And it really is more than that.. shar has made me feel particularly uncomfrtable.Like I said, time out is maybe what I need...

Sounds like a good idea. We are getting into a meta discussion here, i.e. the discussion of the discussion, which as little to do with the issues
at hand; support for those with mental illness.
When I get fed up with whatever internet place I
find a break to be very helpful.james

I regret that you feel uncomfortable. If you want to talk about it, I'm very open to that, and will give you my private e-mail if you want to take this off the board. If you decide to leave, I hope you will come back soon (who knows--maybe I'll be banished by then!).
As I responded to bob, when I said vocal minority, it was not your post to which I was referring. In case that's what you're uncomfortable with.
