Hi, all! (I posted as Kate a short time ago), and Dr. Bob gave me my previous name and password).
I am 67 and at age 60, wrote about my life and won a scholarship and am a Sophomore in college (social work).
I have enclosed a little about me (not sure if it shows up or if I am allowed to do that); still figuring out the techie stuff.
I went to see a t because of a spiritual abuse issue (church voted me out of membership with my name up on a big screen,, followed by the words, "Conduct Unbecoming a Child of God." This was because I got a divorce after 31 years of abuse, and let him live in m house for awhile afterwards).
I was called to a meeting of deacons, not allowed to have a woman with me and asked: "Are you still having sex with your ex?"My t journeyed with me for the 18 months, and when the debacle was over, I stayed with him, because I loved him......that has not changed.
Unfortunately, He led me on and I am trying to find the courage to confront him about that.
So, hello to everyone, and hope I didn't ramble, LOL

P.S. I had posted about Jadah......she was having an affair with her t and had cancer; I have always wondered what happened to her....everyone was so loving and supportive.
P.S. #2 I might, if I find the courage, eventually post the things my t said and did.

Well I excruciatingly DISlike being alone, and that is the reason the divorce was so scary. Been on the dating sites for 10 years....abysmal at best, LOL

I would NOT want to date again, at any age. I still have problems isolating myself, so I have joined two women's support groups. I don't think I'd have the chutzpah to put myself out there in the dating scene.

Thank you, Angela! Yes, I had a good 4th....as a Veteran I attended a (free) baseball game in Detroit; all of us veterans walked out on the field and shook hands with the players. I havent been to a game in over 30 years, but thought it might be fun!
