YouTube and Depression

Anyone else see these on You Tube? Anyone know anything about this doctor? What do people think about his thoughts? (There are multiple segments with this doctor; they should be shown on the right hand side)

He seems logical and sensible to me. I only watched the first video, so I don't know if he said anything less logical later.

For the most part, I am put off by excessive optimism, and his first remarks scared me a bit. But the overall tone seemed very balanced.

What do you think about it? Are you familiar with the doctor?

I had previously seen his name in some things that I read but other than that, I do not know much about him personally.

I did some research and he seems fairly well regarded. He is listed on "The Best Psychiatrists in the U.S.A. and Canada Specializing in the Treatment of People with Mood Disorders", which seems like a list with a lot of the good psychiatrists (from what I can tell). But then again, there are a lot of lists and who knows what really makes a good psychiatrist.
