Greetings folks! I'm new to the board, but I've followed it a few years as I've tried various meds to deal with my ongoing anxiety/mild depression issues. After trying almost ever antidepressant in the book, never being able to tolerate them (they made me a more hyper, anxious, depressed person. I'm currently on 100mg lamictal x1 a day and Klonopin 3x per day. This is working pretty darn well. my energy level was a tad low, and i had a weight gain due to an unfortunate run in with Remeron in the Fall (i loved that med other than the constant urge to stuff my face and no control to stop it)...
I know my doc has been itching to throw Wellbutrin into the mix since, so I took my first one this a.m. ---Typically, I'm ha, anxious, about a new med, though i took it with my morning klon. Any wellbutrin tips or encouragements? mostly, i wanted to share the experience with others who might have had similar experiences. I do not have many friends who really "get" my issues or that i talk about my meds ,etc., with.

Hi Isabeau and welcome.
I think that for this particular issue, you might find more answers on the medication board.
Also, if you don't want to retype your post, you can reply to your own post, quote it, and right under "Enter your post" is a drop down box of boards. You can change it to the medication board.
And of course, for issues of psychology, therapy, etc. I hope you continue to post on this board.

Welcome and good for you for sharing! I was going to suggest the medication board too. Not because I didn't want to read your post. I found it very interesting. But I thought you might be better feedback on the medication board. I took Wellbutrin once a number of years back. It blurred my vision and the doctor took me off of it because of that one thing. Alot of people love it though. I take one thing... Cymbalta but feel I need something in addition to it be honest. I can't believe I only take one med. Makes me wonder how I would be doing taking alot of other stuff. What I am missing out on.
