if anyone here is like me, you think very lowly of yourself. but truly there is alot of goodness in this group. i see it in the posts. what is something good about you? it can be anything. one good thing about me is i am very good with dogs. i know how to act around a dog. not to be funny but they 'are' animals and sometimes people forget that. i haven't had the experiences the Dog Whisperer has, but i have confidence in myself that if i was in a situation where a dog was acting dangerous, i would have some confidence in handling it, vs. being intimidated and letting the dog do damage. i take pride in that because i feel it is a skill. i have a zero tolerance for animal abuse and using abuse to control a dog is a huge no no if i am anywhere in the area. so how about you?

I think I am a good friend. I am thoughtful and keep in touch. I didn't used to be this way. Before I had therapy, I was a very bad friend and had few friends. But my T taught me a lot about friendship.

tries to see the good in people (not bad for a borderline misanthrope)
loves nature
good friend (when i don't have the covers over my head)
moved by art of many forms
really tries to do the best for my son (and husband) and not be 'enmeshed'

I try to be creative.
I like making people laugh.
I like giving gifts because I know people would enjoy them, not because I want something in return.
