T says I need my head examined. lol

Posted by HappyChaiTea on February 26, 2009, at 12:25:27

Yeah, you all know that already, right? lol
Well she is concerned about my memory problems, she sees it, plus with migraines that just started this summer,I am getting C's now in school, and this other damage on the outside of my head due to child abuse that was caught before on MRI, it is slowly growing but nothing too serious. But with my brother having seizures and stuff, she wants me to be more firm with my doctor and get tested.
She said she doesn't believe my problems are mental other than depression and PTSD.(good to know) lol
OH, what fun it is to be 40, your body goes to sh*t!

I am fighting (the age thing) it every step of the way!!

In sympathy (LOL), Sassy

Right there with you, Happy. Aging is not for wimps, apparently.

Seriously, though, I hope you will find a doctor who takes this seriously and checks you out.

Thanks Therapy Girl,

I will get to see my doc in a couple weeks. I hope I can do an open MRI because after having 2 closed MRI, I can't do it again, it freaks me out.

It is all on administration... step with caution.

So sorry.

I have BIG memory loss due to 4 years of taking Celexa. Noticed it distinctly not too long after starting taking Celexa....even my friends noticed the link.

Have been off Celexa for I dunno - maybe 4 years now - unfortunately memory didn't come back.
:-(

But I was going to mention this...I'm quite into 'alternate' type treatments for various things. The first thing that came to my mind was Cranio-Sacral therapy. The second was Matrix Therapy.

Hugs, Kath
