I am kinda freaked though, I don't know if I am in any shape to help anyone else with their life and how to make it better. But maybe I can use that feeling to give others hope that things can get better and maybe helping others will help me feel better too.
But it would be very few hours, and without taking classes summer, it would doable without too much stress.
It would be a great opportunity without many commitments from me. Just 10 weeks, at least 3 hours each week. But it would be a good thing to help getting into grad school and wonderful experience doing a lot of different things with people.
The department chair really likes me and wants to help me, so I feel like I should take this opportunity, some student don't get this chance even. I guess my depression has takes some of my self esteem with it.

As a seasoned veteran of the internship, you have to be fearless.It would be very sad to me if you let your depression rule the day on this decision and potentially missed an opportunity that could help you get what you want.
Besides, that doesn't sound like the happy flower I know.
What is the internship about?

Oh, Gosh, the lady just called me and I have an interview tomorrow! Yikes.
This organization does many things for the community, it is called Stone Soup, so I have no idea exactly what I would do. But the lady at the school said I would get placed in a good position that would give me experience as a T, she said she has strings and I am her first recommendation. ( I don't know why me) yikes!
I know I don't sound like me, but I haven't been me for a long time. I don't even know what I should wear. Plus that night (tomorrow) is the induction ceremony of Psi Chi! EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!

I talked to the chair of psych at school and I guess it is to be a lifestyle counselor, where you help people with whatever they need to go in the right direction in life, to whatever agencies they might need, not a T, but more like a lifestyle coach. They provide all the training and I am told I will learn about all the different agencies in our area. I will find out more tomorrow. I guess the 3hrs a week for 10 week is for training.I guess this is where my age and life experience is a bonus compared to a young 20 something old.
The other thing she told me about was a job helping abused children in another county, but it would a lot more hours, so I told her that wouldn't work for me, too many hours right now. Well that is what I said which is partly true, but I know I am not ready to work with abused children right now, until I am desensitized from my own abuse.
Maybe this is what I need to feel good about myself, I know in studies done that people who volunteer are some of the most happy people with their lives. If feels good that people have such confidence in me, I just wish I had that within myself.
So tomorrow I have that interview, then I got to my doc appt. and talk about how increase in Prozac is only helping a little, then on to the big induction ceremony. How will I do it all, all I want to do today is stay in bed, even on such a beautiful spring day.

Interview went well, and I got it in! It will start next week for training and job shadowing. Then I will be a life skills counselor, I am so excited!
Well gotta go, I have a doctors appointment, then off to the induction of Psy Chi. What a day!
