Has anyone ever had Homicidal thoughts?

Posted by oldschool305 on December 13, 2007, at 22:27:56

For the past two weeks or so, I have been having severe homicidal thoughts. My friend of over 15 years is hooked on Oxycontin and several other pills, we got into a stupid argument and she came to my home while i was sleeping and slashed all my tires. now, she is talking so much crap about me to all my friends that she runs into. she works at a local restaurant and my friends run into her all the time and she is spreading horrbile rumors about me that are not true. it has gotten me so upset that i've been having nightmares every night that i am stabbing her to death. now, these thoughts are in my head all day long, everyday. i know i won't do anything, i'm harmless but i want these thoughts to go away and these nightmares. i have severe anxiety and panic disorder and im pretty sure im bipolar too but just not diagnosed. i stopped taking my lexapro a month ago because it made me sleep my life away. i need a new medication, i don't know what. i dont have insurance, i dont believe in therapy. my friend is a therapist and he talks to me but it upsets me more than do any good. i need help. anyone out there ever have homicidal thoughts? how did you deal with them, any medication that helps this?

thanks =\

Our minds are wonderful private places where we can play out our fantasies, our dreams, our thoughts of the future. We can even create chambers of death for some very therapeutic, so long as a few conditions are met, violent activities.

Remember, we are mammals. Predatory mammals, with canine teeth for puncturing and tearing flesh. This means that we all have a very dark violent side to us. This side should not be removed or silenced. We all need merely to find an outlet for this that doesn't have any real consequences.

Sometimes when I am "discussing" something with someone and we find ourselves at diametrically opposing views, I often imagine myself strangling the other party. It's a great tool to take a moment to gather your patience.

The person of course has NO idea what I'm thinking and they never come to any harm. That's the important thing, find your outlet without having an effect on the real world.

Some people try to condition themselves to ignore these dark violent tendencies. That can lead to some severe inner turmoil as that is an attempt to truly kill part of yourself.

So, take your anger somewhere safe. Let it all out. Then find a solution to this conflict, I assure you an acceptable resolution is within the realm of possibility. If you get frustrated again, just remember. You can resurrect their aggravating *ss and frag em again...and again...and again... feeling angry is healthy, just use it in a way that hurts no one....that includes yourself, do not hold it in. It's toxic.

Wow, you're a great writer. Thanks for your input... I will keep everything you said in mind, and I know that I will not act out on these actions, but wish these thoughts would go away. I DO need to release my anger somehow, hmmmm.... what could I do to release this anger... hmmm lol.

It's Friday night, I'll figure something out. Thanks again!
