You haven't posted about how things are going now that your T is back... do you feel better? Is everything back to the normal routine?

In reply to sunny days... how it's working?, posted by gazo on April 25, 2007, at 17:13:48
Ummm.... I'm feeling a little better. It's still hard. He explained transference to me... only not in that word. :) He was saying it was normal I would be worried he'd be mad, because of how I was raised, and that that sort of stuff is going to transfer over to him too because we're so close. It actually was so good to hear him say that. I feel like I need a lot of reassurance lately from him. But we're working hard at a bunch of stuff. Thanks for asking about me.

I'm not sure if it's good or not. He's been challenging thoughts and beliefs I have a lot more lately, and it's really hard to have him do that when all I want is him to take care of me. And then most of the time I hear it as criticism even though that's not what he means at all. So all that was what necessitated the description. It's just awfully hard.

i imagine it is SD. It must also be good though.. and you trust him, so you know he is trying to do what is best for you. It was good that he explained why you might have seen it as criticism. i'm glad he is back, you were so sad.
