Somebody wake me up

Posted by muffled on December 31, 2006, at 7:33:01

I getting lost and confused and scared.
Reality is creeping in.
Its like a nightmare, a joke, a big farce.
But reality rears its ugly head.
And denial is getting harder.
Mebbe go back on seroquel :(
Least until my T gets back.
And I getting a cold too.
Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t.
I am not a happy camper.
But I know I a VERY fortunate one.
This too shall pass.
T is back in anuther 9 days.
I dread it.
I miss her.
I scared.
Just venting I guess.
Thx for listening.

Hi Muffled,

I think you're already awake since what you wrote makes perfect sense. I'm not a happy camper these days, either. Then again I've never been very happy-period.

Take care.

Oh Muffled...

I'm sorry you're going through a rough spot. I don't like it when stuff starts seeping through. It sucks! :(

For what its worth, when I have stuff come up I find that writing like a maniac and then shredding it gives me some sense of relief or release. If they are feelings or thoughts that I can't really verbalize I've resorted to drawing and that helps to just get it out in some form.

I know you already know all of this. You are a writer. Some of your post are prose. That's what I like about your post. You have a unique style.

BTW, I checked out the prose site. Very cool! As soon as I'm done posting I'm going back to check out the links on the site.

I hope time flys between now and the time you see your t and that you stave off that cold. Be good to that kid in you. Shes strong. She's the one that got you through whatever it was that happened and she will help you get through whatever is ahead. Be well and have a Happy New Year!

Regards,
HK :)

Getting a cold can make everything else seem so much worse. Try to take care of yourself. A nice bowl of your favorite hot soup always helps me feel better - especially when someone loving brings it to me on a tray as I rest on the couch watching a sappy love story.

**Thanks Poet.
Thats why I said I was fortunate.
I been in the pit.
Sometimes I start to fall in again, but somehow I come out again.
ANYthing is better than the pit.
I spent many, many years there.
Poet, I think you got a good T.
I also think you will find your way out of the pit eventually.
I NEVER thot I would.
But I did.
Its a whole different world out here.
I hope you can find your way out sooner rather than later.
Hang in there.
Its worth it.
Its so good to be out.

**Now thats interesting. I am not much for drawing, but I could try. My T has never suggested art type stuff. I'll have to think on what medium might suit me...

*Yes, the kids that made it are tough. They must be. Tough like my T is tough. My T has emotions, but that don't mean she weak.
Thanks HK

It'll be alright muffled. Try to drink lots of orange juice to fight off a cold. Lots of deep breaths, and anything you can think to distract yourself until your T gets back. Do you like to bake, paint, color, play with toys, anything? Try to stay occupied, but get plenty of rest so you don't get too sick.

(((((muffled))))

It'll be alright. Nothing has changed about what your T thinks of you, I'm just sure of it. You are so brave, and are doing wonderfully.

**aww thanks SD.
Thats what my T said. That the way she feels bout me does not change....................
but...
That seems a little irrational to me.
Cuz what I think I might have told her MUST have changed her mind.
She is HUMAN. She is NOT God.
Yeah, guess we'll mebbe talk bout it.
Mebbe not.
I dunno.
But thanks for your vote of confidence.
Funny how stuff like that gets in a persons brain and helps.
Thanks,
Take care and happy new year,
Muffled
