Dear Pseudoname

Posted by pseudoname on May 31, 2006, at 9:55:22

You stupid jerk. What the _____ is wrong with you?

LEAVE YOUR _____ING HOUSE!!

You absolutely positively HAVE to go outside and, for one thing, mow your _____ing 8" lawn!

Are you lazy? Narcissistic? Doing ordinary work is beneath you? You don't think a precious twit like yourself should have to do anything except surf on the web all day?!

EVERYONE is better than you are. You are slime. I'm ashamed of you. The reason no one can stand you is that you're a lazy, self-righteous, work-shirking, annoying, worthless sponge and moocher.

You're a _____. Everyone has been saying this to you and about you since you were a kid. It's not that nearly everyone you've ever met is somehow delusional. The fact is that you really are a _____! You should repent and be ashamed of yourself and change your behavior to be more like other people, who do their jobs and take care of their houses and respect others and meet their obligations. Stop thinking you're "special" and start being like everyone else.

You're a tiresome, ridiculous creep. YOU KNOW YOU ARE!! A waste of energy. You're a net drain on the species, let alone your family and neighborhood and school resources. It's funny that you think you're some kind of royalty and refuse to behave normally. After all this time, you still don't get it. Repeatedly being rejected, ejected, ignored, and having people mad at you; it never sinks in.

You're a silly know-it-all. You can never be worthwhile.

Sincerely,
Pseudoname

[And my pdoc said I have "poor insight". Ha!]

> You .....

I have to stop there, else I have committed a civility sin, by repeating your words. I think you may have achieved infamy, for the shortest length of non-repeatable text. Bravo!

Now, what are you planning to do with this love letter?

Ask your spirit, what it thinks? I'm really curious what that other voice has to say.

Ha ha ha ha ha!! ROTFL!

Thanks, Larry. You've brightened my day with an absolutely perfect response.

For the moment... I think... (giddy pause) I may be about to... go outside!!

More later.

It certainly helps that we've met. Helps me, to enliven you, in your words. You live in them, now. It was a pleasure to gain that insight.

Have a great day.

I know for a fact that what you say isn't true:

>The reason no one can stand you ...

I can stand you.

I missed him, on our journeys through Toronto. He only got to share some things.

I meant to mention that. Thanks.

I found your letter to be very sad. It made me feel sad that you feel that way about yourself. I hope you find a very special T that helps you see all the beauty and love and kindness that makes you who you are.

Yup. Me, too. I can WAY MORE than stand you. I think you are a lovely person. You put up with my kinds of madness with kindness, grace and patience. A man who can do that, make such an impression on my spirit in just a few hours, is NONE of the bad things written.

And ha, ha, we've met, too, so you can't use that old, 'but you don't know what I'm like IRL' excuse....so there! Ha! [sticks out tongue]

Replying to this little flood of supportive posts is a bit daunting. Thanks to everyone. I appreciated each individually.

My anti-self spleen doesn't really bother me very much; maybe not at all. It's "true" or true-feeling, but it's also sorta impotent or unplugged or sidelined or hollow in a way.

Posting it was good. It was more of my post-Toronto openness.

But it bothered me a lot to read the abusive "Dear self" letters by other people that followed it. Hearing other people say such things about themselves is quite disturbing!

Ten, thanks for such nice comments. But I don't know what you're talking about — "put up with"?? I loved spending time with you! If you lived closer, I'd call you to go shopping.

Hi Pseudoname,

Despite the fact that you got to tour the theatre in Toronto, I can stand you. Auntie Mel on the other hand, don't get me started. Oh, wait, I'm over that hissy fit. Maybe.

Cool! And if I lived closer, I'd happily accept that invitation :-)

(well, after I had this annoying, recurring foot pain under control, that is....)
