Anybody wants to pat my back and say well done :-)

Posted by orchid on December 9, 2005, at 7:20:45

Well, I have been very happy recently. No remorses, no guilt, no pain and no suffering.

I think I made it through all the ordeal and have managed to emerge out just fine. Of course thanks to all you guys and everyone else who helped me through.

But I am just fine these days.

And I am in my own little kiddish mood these days and happily singing and sitting idle and watching the great view from my room.

And I am patting my own back for a job well done with myself, and feeling good that I persevered inspite of so many issues and set backs.

Anybody wants to pat on my back and say well done for me? :-)

Oh - by the way, my latest realization, CBT does work - changing external things does help inner healing, but it needs to be combined with psychoanalysis of some sort for it to be really effective.

I'm really glad for you, and delighted you're feeling well. I know you worked hard to get there, and you should be pleased with yourself.

That's so good to hear Orchid. Are you still taking a break, or are you back to work?

Thanks everyone !!!

And b2Chica - this one time you are excused for banging my back :-)

FairyWings - hi after a long time, haven't spoken to you in quite a while. how are you? No I haven't returned back to work. Not planning to for atleast couple of more months. I have to visit US once after maybe a month or two, and then will come back and maybe take up a job at that time.

Yesterday I was reading an article about Albert Einstein, and there were very nice things he said about life.

A reporter asked him, if at the end of his life, if he looked back, what would make him think if it was a success or a failure..

And E=MC2 replied that either at the end of his life or at any point, there is no question of his life being a success or failure. He said "Do you think of my life as an engineering project? I just am part of nature".

I thought it was a wonderful way of looking at life.

And another guy named his kid Albert Einstein and wanted AE to write some words of advice and encouragement to the kid. So AE says, "When you work out of a goal or ambition, you never really produce any great things. Do the thing you enjoy doing for the pleasure it gives you and that will make you great".

The words are not verbatim, but pretty much the same meaning.
