You can be kids again. I am going to take you to my house, let you play on the swing set, slippery-slide; give you milk and cookies, hot chocolate in the winter, and lemonade in the summer......read you stories, hug you, let you run in a field filled with flowers, and at the end of the day, when you are all itchy from the weeds and flowers; give you a bath, put you in your pajamas, give you your favorite stuffed animal, tuck you in, read you a story (again, LOL), kiss you goodnight.

Love, mom
Ally

NOBODY gives me a bath, NOBODY tucks me in. You got that. But the rest sounds lovely.
Can you really go back like that? I can't. Kid hood is DEAD. Sweet little kid ain't though. Met her. Damn B2, I wish you could meet your little sweetie inside. She's there.

...this is Deneb's work. See the thread on the bottom of the Admin board that Alex started....think it's called "Cool pic"

Deneb either sent it or made a link available to Dr. Bob....and now look...she's Babble-famous!

I should let her explain what led her to draw it, but if I recall a bit of her posts...the figure is Dr. Bob, and he's watering the Tree of Babble, with the lovely colors being all the different posters growing on the tree. I really, really like it.

(Deneb did I come close?)

You guys own impressions were lovely and touching, too.

- 10derHeart (seems more like blabber-Heart lately, can't seem to not throw in my 2 cents all over the boards...)

That's right! :-) You explained it perfectly.

Dr. Bob is like a gardener...he takes care of the Babble Tree. :-)

i must admit i felt a little funny when i read bath. its interesting cuz yesterday in session i mentioned that i remembered my mother giving me and my brother baths and whenever she bathed me she was terribly rough, i remember feeling almost raw when she was done. maybe that's why i hate taking baths and showers.
i'm just wondering...is it wierd to have kids the age of 6-7 and 8-9 taking baths together?
it makes me angry when you talk about the stupid little girl inside me.

i think that's what my T wants. i should tell him to just get me talking about her.

I read somewhere that for just BASIC mental health, we all need at least 16 hugs a day. Just think of it; most of us get None...No wonder everyone is so crabby!!

I never got a hug from my Mom, but my Dad hugged me!

How sad, but I am glad your dad hugged you. I never knew my father, my mother hugged me, but she was so abusive, it never meant anything.

> Your so sweet Ally Mom!

Thankyou, sweet ladybug (I LOVE ladybugs)

Do you know WHY mom never hugged you? That must have been so painful and confusing.

Hugs, Ally (mom)

Alrighty then.

> > Can you really go back like that?

Well, no....of course you can't go back, but you can find someone to nurture you, etc.....i never had it as a child, and then I just got out of 31 years of abusive marriage; so, I NEVER was nurtured, but I've got a ton to give (fo figure)

I can't. Kid hood is DEAD. Sweet little kid ain't though. Met her. Damn B2, I wish you could meet your little sweetie inside. She's there.

i wouldn't do it if they were the opposite sex ; kids are VERY aware of the differences, and it could start to be erotic. Those ages are too old for that.

> it makes me angry when you talk about the stupid little girl inside me.

She isn't stupid; she only wants to be loved and understood and nurtured. You can do that.

*Yes it is weird. I'll post more later.
Sorry to make you mad, but I feel so for that little one. I got one in me(who I used to hate), and I got a real live one of my own who is 6. So there you have it.
Talk when you ready, and not before.

Now at the risk of bursting the bubble of posters that might have been thinking I am all sweetness and light, innocent, or some other such "nonsense," I must say....uhhh...no way, HF.

See, there's an anatomical problem with your idea, methinks. Both with...err...proportion and, errr...position.

I mean, assuming the stick figure is a human male ;-)

(ok, ok, I know it's *just* a stick figure and so more of a representation than entirely accurate, but go with me on this, people.......)

Really.
Look again.
Really look.
lol.

;-) (gosh, I must be feeling pretty much okay, me and my dirty mind...too bad you can't read the unedited version of this post running through my head... ;-)

PS - (Absolutely no human males reading here were meant to be injured, insulted or otherwise harmed by this post, which is only intended all in good fun and to give my friend, HF, a rough time!)
