This came out of my session last night. My T didn't have time to explain it but she said to look it up and that we'd discuss it in two weeks.
Any idea what she's referring to? I think she was targeting my ex with this phrase but without the definition, I can't be too sure.
(I'd look it up here at work but any search with the word *love* in it gets a security violation.)

I think love addiction is when someone is dependent on having a boy/girlfriend. If they breakup with someone they immediately find another mate. I can't be too sure though.

According to sex and love addicts anonymous (http://www.slaafws.org/), a love addiction is similar to other compulsions and dependencies only it's with love/relationships (and/or possibly sex).
