dopamine and norepiephine

Posted by torrid on June 8, 2011, at 19:42:14

dopamine is converted into norepiephine so what does taking DRI (wellbution) do to norepiephine levels. Still trying to figure out why wellbutrin and SAM-e work on me. wellbutrin pooped out but now I'm doing OK on cymbalta and a lower dose of wellbutrin

wellbutrin and its metabolites inhibit the reuptake of norepinepherine. As far as why one set works, another doesn't: there are LOT of feedback loops in the brain, so increasing on neutransmitter one place makes other go up, or down, in various locations.

I'm hoping cymbalta is going get me functioning, hoping it will work on anxiety, pain, and ADHD, I need to be at the top of my game by late july.

thanks

I don't think it is strong enough to help with ADHD.

BTW if SAMe helps you i rec supplementing creatine. It is dirt cheap, very tested. most same in the body i used to synth creatine.

Also i personally like nortriptyline.

I think your the second person recogmending creatine or I read your post twice. I just added ALCAR and omega mood to my suppliments and I like to wait months before I make any changes so I'll put creatine on the back burner.

SAMe, NAC, ALCAR, magnism glycinate, Bcomplex, Niacin, folate, omega mood and a multi vit/min thinking about adding D3 and creatine on the back burner.

thanks so much

btw if you take d3 then k2 is a good idea. i don't think there is any known use to mental health, but it prevents risk of calicification from high levels of d3, and is good for bones/cardiovascular health
