Lou's response-purinpsirt

Posted by Lou Pilder on October 28, 2010, at 20:10:05

Friends,
One of my reasons for being here is to save lives. But there is much more to this than giving facts that may be unbeknownst to some that could mark the difference between life and death.
You see,it has been revealed to me that death can be when you are alive. This type of death is a living death. Many of you already know about that for you have posted here about being in a state of death, or wanting to be physically dead. It has been revealed to me what can be done to become alive if one is in the state of death. Some call the state of death while alive, depression. Another state could be in addiction and experiancing withdrawal. Another state could be extreme feelings of unworthiness or abandonment. But the good news is that it has been revealed to me that if one is in that state that they are at the door of being healed. It is done by entering a new realm. A realm of life and light and peace, leaving behind a life of darkness and death. And the good news is that when one is bankrupt of the spirit to live, as in depression, and they have a poverty of spirit to live, it is then that their poorness of spirit can allow that one to see that they could be disconnected from what could give them life and peace. They are like a branch disconnected from a vine. But the good news is that it has been revealed to me that when one is in this condition that they can receive the vine and have new life in a new realm.
It is a mystery to some how one could be poor in spirit and yet be transposed into a new relam of the spirit of life and peace. But it has been given to me to know the mysteries of it. For it has been revealed to me that all we like sheep have gone astray. I come here to point a way to a shepherd of lost sheep. And when I had an ecounter with a Rider on a White Horse, He said to me, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdome of Heaven."

So the answer is faith? I think, unfortunately, it is not always enough. There is no single answer to complex psychiatric illness.

How is this a response? Or rather, to what is this a response? As long as you refer to sources of information that are not even remotely intelligible, I can't take you or your posts seriously. As I have already said - and this is *not* intended as a judgment - I believe you are suffering from psychosis, and it is you who is in desperate need of treatment.

Well, I think we (all of us) must be careful with putting up labels, or titles, or whatever, on us *mentally ill*. This is not directed at one person.

I look for the good in everyone, and I honestly believe Lou feels that he is doing something good, helping people. None of us can claim 100 percent objectivity, because from our personal view, we **ALL** feel like the center of the universe. When you get down to the very basic, our lives revolve around sustaining our own existence. Having said that, we all have some type of story, script, or whatever, about existential questions, and say creationism or evolution.

I think challenging, yet very diplomatic and polite discussions about these things are great. I used to be a more secular humanist. I still hold some of those values. But, I have made ventures into various religions, mostly through a lot of reading. As a result of our bias and lack of objectivity, I don't think it is certain that any of us will ever discover the *real* answers. Science does come very close quite often, but there are still a lot of undotted i's and t's not crossed.

IMHO..YMMV..etc..

Of course there is. Life is precious and you have to work hard at it. Life won't just come back to you on its own just because you will it so. That would be too easy and we can't take life for granted. I have already mentioned some activities that you could to make yourself feel more alive and connected with the world. But you dismissed my post saying that you were connected enough to other people. I don't think you are. Why don't you take a course a local college? Something that you have always wanted to learn but never had the chance to. It could be something like jewellery making if you want and you could sell your work on Ebay. Or it could be something philosophical to help you get an understanding of why you are here on earth.Taking a course will keep your mind working.

I find that some people on PB ask for advice but when they receive it and hear what they don't want to hear they just ignore it.

Maybe he is a scientologist? I don't know. Been trying to figure out for some time now. Psychosis sounds more likely.

I don't think there is psychosis going on here and I'm not sure it's fair to suspect that Lou is anything more than a very deeply religious person that has some very strong beliefs.

Lou, are you Christian? It sounds like you might be. Is finding Christ and recognizing him as your savior what you are speaking of as the way we can heal and save ourselves?

Lou, you still are not showing me anything more than someone who just wants to convert everyone to believe what you want them to believe. I feels like a selfish pursuit to me, one that fulfills a need you have.

Hi Maxi (always happy to see that you at least feel well enough to post...been following your stuff and rooting for you, job, etc., etc...:-) )

If I may jump in...I think you misunderstood Phillipa's post. If you re-read she was saying literally if you are dead (physical death) you are dead and asking if there is a way to come back to life.

I read it the way you did at first, too, as if she was meaning feeling *like* you're dead (figuratively) while still alive. :-)

I really, really like this post, Jay. You said many things, so well, so much better than I ever could have said them.

Thanks for taking the time. Positive things = uplifting people. This is good.

Understanding, empathy, reasonableness = Always helps, 'specially on Babble!!

Oh. Sorry Phillipa, I misunderstood you. I can't tell if Lou is really talking about death or a state of death (being alive but not living)and I really don't want to ask him any questions because all of this stuff gives me quite the headache.

I've re-read your post numerous times to digest what you have written. I'm interested. I'm interest because I have (and do) spend so much time in the state of death (acute depression) and I HATE the darkness. It makes me become very suicidal and I want to die. I have come close many times.

When you are in the state of death (as you define it) are you brought into New Realm automatically? How do you find your to the new realm instead of staying in the state of death? Does someone guide you there? Do you teach people how to get there? Are you talking about meditation? Once you get into the New Realm. do you ever leave to rejoin life as you knew it but without the depression? What goes on in the state of Realm to heal you? Will I see other people there or does everyone have their own state of realm?

Sorry that I have asked so many questions. But the great philophers of years asked many questions before forming a theory. Not that I see myself as a great philosopher.

Please be sensitive to the feelings of others.

But please don't take this personally, this doesn't mean I don't like you or think you're a bad person, and I'm sorry if this hurts you. I don't want anything bad to happen to you.

I do hope that you choose to remain a member of this community and that members of this community help you, if needed, to avoid future blocks. Jay and Morgan, thanks for trying to help this time.

It's up to you to decide whom you interact with. Sometimes interacting with others may be frustrating, staying civil may be a challenge, and new skills may help. If you're open to developing new skills (which I realize may not be why you came in the first place), that's another way in which you may be supported by other posters.

More information about posting policies and tips on alternative ways to express yourself, including a link to a nice post by Dinah on I-statements, are in the FAQ:

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#enforce

You might want to consider asking another poster to be your "civility buddy" and to preview your posts before you submit them.

Follow-ups regarding these issues should be redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration. They, as well as replies to the above post, should of course themselves be civil.

Thanks,

Bob

PS: According to the formula:

duration of previous block: 1 week
period of time since previous block: 11 weeks
severity: 2 (default) + 1 (particular individual) = 3
block length = 2.47 rounded = 2 weeks

Please don't post anything that could lead others to feel accused or put down.

But please don't take this personally, either, this doesn't mean I don't like you or think you're bad people, and I'm sorry if this hurts you.
