The UPS guy is at least twice as handsome when he's delivering boxes from Amazon!
I got a major haul today -- two DVD sets, and a stack of books!
The DVDs are both TV shows: the first seasons of "WKRP in Cincinnati," and "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle." I'm looking forward to them, sort of audio/visual cotton candy -- it may not last, but sweet on the tongue.
Then books! "The ABCs of Vice," "Psycho Kitties," and "My Cat's Not Fat, He's Just Big-boned," all by Nicole Hollander -- a/k/a The Divine Nicole Hollander. "The Land of the Naked People," which is about the Sentinalese Islanders, "Am I Thin Enough Yet?" and two books about clothing construction, sewing, etc. Then "The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse," "The Fourth Bear," "Magic or Not?" and "Inexcusable," for fiction.
This was my husband's present to me for finishing summer school. My present to me/us was a new DVD recorder, but that's a whole 'nother story. I also rewarded myself, or indulged myself, with a bunch of OOP books, but I've already mentioned that above...
I'm set for a while...
