Blueberry: what dose of mag/glycinate did u take?

Posted by qbsbrown on April 8, 2009, at 22:02:49

I myself am trying to wean off of valium. Typically I try to take around 1000mgs of mag a day.

But i noticed that in 2 caps, there's Magnesium (elemental) (from 2,000 mg magnesium glycinate/lysinate chelate) 200 mg

Recommends twice a day.

Do I need more mag during times like these?

I don't remember my dose. I couldn't tolerate magnesium. Very depressed on it. I found glycine much more calming and took it by itself sometimes, or combined with Gaba was even better. Being sensitive, I took low doses, but don't remember what they were.

yeah, i found out about the sensitivities too any and all supplements/vitamins while coming off of benzos. Tryptophan, made me depressed. tyrosiine sent me throught the roof. i think l glutamine helped. B vitamins made my heart race and sweat.

I think that my CNS is so sensitive, I'll just steer clear of anything for now.

Regards,

Brian
