I was wondering if anyone has tried the alternative treatment for OCD by Mary Reed? http://www.ocd-free.org/
Basically she puts the disorder down to a thin myelin sheathing and advises you to stop caffeine all together and take things like evening primrose oil/flaxseed oil, spirulina and a stress relief.
I am trying this but as it supposedly takes about 3 months to see any difference and maybe 9-12 to see significant change I wanted to find people who have tried it for this amount of time or longer.
I only seem to find people who haven't long started like myself.
Also, what do you make of her theory? I have the 'pure o' type of OCD and can be socially anxious.thanks a lot

Evening Primrose oil is high in omega-6
Fish oil is more effective than flax seed oil.
I've found carb reduction (cutting grains and sugar) to be quite effective on OCD. It reduces cravings/appetite.
This is the end of the thread.
