Anything that raises cortisol in turn lowers DHEA, as I understand, like I see-saw sort of thing. Caffeine, of the top of my head, can raise cortisol up to 300%, and lower DHEA by like 50% or something. You can find exact figures somewhere by doing searches on google.

Linkadge, do you remember that post I did above a month ago or so. My DHEA levels were up. cortisol was down. As is testosterone. I forget the other one.

My idea was that a flavanoid or two in the herbs I take for allergies and arthritis was inhibiting the enzyme responsible for the conversion.
What this means is tht even without supplementation my DHEA levels are too high.

What I wanted to know was which flavanoid.

But isn't tribulus terrestis supposed to increase DHEA?

Not sure,

Interested in DHEA as it is a potent neuronal growth factor.
