G'day everyone
I've tried taking L-Tyrosine 3 mg a day and I do find it activating. However I seem to become very sleepy sometimes in the evening. I always get nervous in the evening and that hasn't changed but it seems (?) that Xanax has a greater effect when taken with L-Tyrosine. Am I imaginig this? This probably accounts for the sleepiness. Interestingly, even though I get sleepy I'm still activated, witness the bed-time story read to my small son at break-neck speed. Also for the first time in my life it looks like I'll soon be able to play Bach's prelude no 2 from the Well Tempered Clavier. Yay

Benzodiazapines to have indirect effects on enhancing dopamine in certain brain areas.
Taking the precursor tyrosine could augment this effect.
