Hi,
I'm going to be travelling in early March, and I find I really miss my light therapy when away from home. I want to get a portable unit, but they are pricey. Anyone know if the light therapy companies have sales at the end of the SAD season?gg

Costco sells Apollo's goLITE for $142.99 - see http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?prodid=10040013&whse=&topnav=&cat=
The same model selling on the Apollo web site is $249 http://www.apollolight.com/golite.html
I don’t have any experience with the goLITE, but thought I’d mention these prices.

Holy cannoli, that's a big savings, and I wouldn't have to pay for shipping assuming they have it in stock.
Thanks, Craig! I've been looking for a reason to switch from Sam's to Costco besides the obvious monster business one.

Hey GardenGirl,
The Apollo goLITE P1 is available at Costco for $143:
http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?prodid=10040013&whse=&topnav=&cat=That's a pretty good deal for the product, which relies on a specific segment (blue light) of the spectrum that's most efficient for melotonin suppression.
Good luck,

Check this out. It's not on sale, and is more expensive than Costo, but would certainly be very handy for travel.

Charger should last for 8,000 recharges.Lifetime warranty for FBL and charger. Other pieces (case, velcro), replacement pieces can be individually purchased.

If you buy it at your local Costco store, you would avoid having to pay for shipping. I saw a bunch of them there the last time I went to Costco.

Check out posts from Katia. She may have posted on Psyco-Babble, but she got one a few months ago and seems to like it.

Thanks for posting about this. I don't belong to Costco, so the membership fee would make this more expensive than if I get it at Sam's Club. I think it's about $165 there. I plan to get one next week since I'll be going away for the weekend at the end of January.I'll let you know how the Golite P1 works out.
