CFIDS and paradoxical responses article - Larry

Larry, here's a short article you might find interesting. It could be the explanation I've been looking for. Maybe you already know this. However, there's no solution given. Let me know what you think.

Just skimming things over, but there is no article link. I haven't yet mastered telepathy. ;-)

It seems to be a very plausible mechanism for the paradoxical drug response paradigm, in general, not just for stimulants.

What I'm left to ponder is just what to do about it. And, I think the method must necessarily involve the same sort of thinking that goes into dealing with e.g. type-2 diabetes, or adrenal fatigue. The assumptions are that changing the parameters within which the glands must act will eventually return them to more normal functioning (not cure, more normal.....the stress may have done some damage).

I think that's what adaptogens tend to do....normalize certain parameters which rest the glands for a bit.

I wish we had a better understanding, all around.

Thanks. At least I'm on the right track I guess.
