A way to selectively hide old messages

Posted by mtdewcmu on December 27, 2009, at 11:29:24

Dr. Bob,

I would like to have a way to hide messages from old threads, to make it easier to see new posts. Maybe you could add an option for a user to "hide old posts," and each thread would have a button to "mark messages as old." If you had "hide old posts" set in your configuration, then any messages marked as "old" would be hidden on the main page.

I get tired of wading through the same dead threads every day to find the new messages. Thanks.

That's what the yellow "new" flags are for...
