try to calm down, I totally understand what you are feeling. :-(

He doesnt know you are posting? Only reading, right? Let him believe you are just reading, he would have no way of really tracking you down in a timely manner without your screenname. I imagine he would give up over time. From now on Id delete you history frequently. I know how you feel as long as he doesnt have your screenname :-( You are ok, I think. Unless he would spend hours reading posts to figure it out??

hi there rainy, :)

always enjoy hearing from you and thanks so much! yeah, what you said makes sense....i didn't tell him i posted here, so that is a plus...although amy is my real first name..i'm going to start signing my posts with alesta instead of my real name...i think i mentioned the name alesta for some reason, although he may not have noticed. he is getting a busier schedule lately, too, so that will help...thanks rainbow!..:)

take care,:-)

Here is a tool.

http://www.buttuglysoftware.com/CleanCache3.html

It's fast, it's free, and it works. I'm a software engineer, and I would be hard pressed to pull up anything after running this. Unless he goes to extraordinary measures (and I mean serious deep-magic computer geek stuff), he won't find a thing. Just make sure you clean your bookmarks out too.

You can set CleanCache to run automatically when you startup and shutdown if you want to keep someone out of your business permanently.

If you have any trouble, post here or Babblemail me.

He wouldn't respect your privacy if you asked him to? The request doesn't need to be Babble specific. I would consider my husband searching my internet history and looking me up on web sites to be an invasion of privacy equivilant to reading my diary or opening my private correspondence. I'm not sure it would be a trust violation the marriage could endure. Fortunately, I know he wouldn't do any of those things.

It's ex's I'd be most worried about, I think.

<it was the drop-down list box that gave it away apparently...

just to clarify the above, it is the drop-down list box from the web address bar (with the web site addresses you've visited)...not sure of the technical jargon for that.:-)
