I am puzzled by the administrator's punitive actions against Toph. David's claim that half of the Hebrew clerics are actually Christians seems indeed to be divisive as Toph states. Perhaps characterizing an unnamed source as dubious is a less egregious incivility than anti-semitism.

ojacob, I did revise my statment to "today many Rabi's secretly believe" I didnt say they were Christains,however its locical they could be called messianic Jews.

I checked in on this board after a long hiatus, now I know why I stayed away. So, Toph is blocked but David John isn't? DJ's comments were far more offensive (to Jews, anyway, but perhaps that doesn't count here), Toph objected in what seems like a fair and non-offensive manner, he gets blocked without a chance to "rephrase that," while DJ rephrases (if you call it that) and all is well. Sheesh. Now I know why I stopped checking in on this board. Not much support here.

I know you don't like to make retroactive PBC's and that's fine, but perhaps you could review the initial post with a fresh eye and make a statement of sorts as to what's allowable to say about other peoples' religions.
If you don't understand the issues involved, perhaps others could help you understand through email, since posting explanations would likely lead to a PBC.
