processing speed

Posted by rjlockhart37 on January 4, 2018, at 22:27:54

i've been doing research on anxiety and problems i've had and still have.....it effects alot of things, but each time period there was diffrent symptoms, long ago i had ADHD, i did i know it, i was on adderall for a while it did help with attention and focus, but after a series of events that happened, there was some kinda of damage that happened, not severe trauma, but it changed the way i see things...it was a series of emotional events, that made this new state that i've gone into, but when i was on zyprexa high dose, it helped with taking away all this stuff, when they took me off other meds, but it slowed me down, but now if i don't take ztpreza it's serious withdrawl, longer than benzo withdrawl.....will have skyrocket amounts of nuerotransmitter increase and feeling having a sieuzures, bad, i think ill have to stay with z5yprexa, its too risky and dangerous to go off

but i was reading about slow processing speed, i got that diangosis about 7 years ago, yes part of that is true, but mainly caused i know was depression and heavy years of olanzipine use, i adapted and can function well now, but usally have to have kick to keep me going, but all the anxiety i havee is created because of failed attemps in socical situations, and also at work situations, i slowed down so much that i cannot undersatand why i can't function at full. I'm gonna get trhough it, and make this taken care of, but i've had to resort to treatments, i do this electrical thing it's called tDcs stiumation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcranial_direct-current_stimulation

i do it once every few days, its not a shock treatment, but it's helping with low current in brain, too much long or high voltage causes irritability and screws up mental functions, keep it at 2ma, above 3ma is too much

but with that, i think i've found out why...the anxiety was from low processing speed, but there were other things that are associated with it, my pdoc there's nothing much i can say in sessions, say im doing great, resorted to other treatments.....there were alot of things that happened that caused that, its like part of memory was lost, bad time in memories....I've started my own therapy, i can't really see doctors because of certain situations, resorted to other things, dtcs current stimulation, have to find stable current too high current screw up mental functions, irritability mainly

but finally understood why all these low energy, processing speed became, took years to find out....im on my own till i can get my feet stable, kinda like being your own best friend in a world that doesn't know you - hope for the best....

I own a tDCS device. mybraintrainer.com is a computer game that tests memory, accuracy and speed. I do much better at it -- especially with speed -- when I'm doing tDCS.

i use one, it's not real sophficated, its uses the battery, has cathode and anode charges, but there's diffrent places where you put them, if your depressed you usally put cathode on right part of brain, and then anode on left, they have all types of diffrent sections where you can place the cathode/anode charges for diffrent things

i've done up 2ma, there's some machines that can go to 5ma but that would be intense

The highest level I've trained at is 2.2. Above that and it starts to feel uncomfortable.

That's an interesting site. I haven't tried most of those montages.
