Its benefitting me somewhat. but not in any major way. just in various subtle ways. ... and im scheduled to do 12 in all .
how does ECT usually benefit the person receiving it? Does it just help in subtle ways after each treatment? It hasnt really helped in any major way yet. im really wanting music to start sounding better. and food to start tasting better.though i did just get back from the park, and it seemed like women were looking better (which is cool)
5 more treatments to go, and i hope i make some big strides in feeling better.

some people say they feel better. usually it is more that other people say they think you are doing better, i think. which counts as an 'objective' benefit. or similar.
glad to hear that you are finding some benefit to it. i have heard that it usually takes a number of treatments to benefit. other people thought i gave up too soon in withdrawing consent after about 6... that you really do need to do the full course.

Yeah, i just still have some big improvements to make in the "emotional response" area. Hopefully ECT can improve me as much as I'd like. ive not been much of an emotional person in quite some time.
