Zyprexa:2.5
Lamictal:200
Clonazapam. .5 prn
NAC 4000
Folic Acid

That's a great question which I can't answer. I look forward to reading the replies to it.

Are you trying to treat bipolar depression?

What is your degree of improvement currently?

What happens when you raise the dosage of Pristiq to 100 mg/day? Have you tried combining Wellbutrin and Pristiq? Have you tried Abilify? Keep an eye on the new antidepressant, Brintellix. You may want to discontiue Pristiq if you were to try it. I might try Brintellix to treat my own bipolar depression. I am about 35% improved versus my untreated baseline. That's not enough.

Currently:

Parnate 100 mg/day
nortriptyline 150 mg/day
Lamictal 200 mg/day
lithium 450 mg/day
Abilify 10 mg/day
prazosin 25 mg/day
minocycline 200 mg/day

In order to try Brintellix, I would have to discontinue the Parate to prevent serotonin syndrome.

Scott what is it that you like about this new one? Since Parnate is strong. Do you feel Brintellix is for anxiety with OCD tendencies to ruminate as worry constantly? Thanks Phillipa

Oh I forgot to mention I take t3 10mgs as well.

I haven't tried the new medication you are talking about. It's unclear whether I have bipolar 3, bipolar spectrum or just TRD but everytime I increase the Pristiq to 100 I get confused and apathetic. Too much serotonin maybe? I don't know. It's a complicated diagnosis that I will fully try to explain at a later date.

Good thing about Buspar is wide dose range with minimal side-effects. So experiment, if your pdoc will let you - usual range is 10-60mg/day. For many years, when they were both new, I took Serzone (300 mg/day) & Buspar 20-30 mg/day, and that was ideal for me.

Not everybody seems to benefit from Buspar, & I have a fairly strong impression that (for me) it makes no difference with some ADs (e.g. Cymbalta).

I would start at 15 mg.
