My problem is that I want to delete this f*ck*ng account and now I cant! The owner of this f*ck*d up dumb board wont do it and wants me to wait or change some stupid dam dumb password. had I realized this was going to happen I would of never signed up on this stupid board. I will never sign up again on a f*ck*d up board that you cannot delete your own account with . blah

Maybe no one knew the answer to your question or didn't know of the meds mentioned. Sometimes that is the way it is. It's a board for support and sharing personal experiences. If none had any how would you have like them to respond? Phillipa

I agree with Phillipa we all are here to help and learn. Sorry you didn't get the responds you wanted but everyone on here really does care!
Search the past boards I have learned a lot from them. A lot are on here like me are afraid to give advise on a subject we have no knowledge of in the fear we might make things worse.
Hang in there we are all in this battle together.

Why are you so agitated?

Why do you need to delete your account? Why not just not visit the website?

If I may ask, when did you receive no answers to a post? You seem to have received many responses to most of the questions that you asked-- all of the ones that came up in a search of this website that I did.

So I'm not sure where you felt ignored.

Also, maybe you can try to remember that one of the issues that bothers you most is undue irritability and anger. Maybe that's at work now. Of course, it's frustrating when the answer to you problems is elusive. But many here did try to be of use and offer any suggestions-- and I"m sure if it didn't help, they would be sorry to hear it.

Sometimes, depressed people get into a bind, because they're looking for a guarantee that something will work, or a guarantee that they won't have negative side effects-- and no one can promise this. I think all of us have at one time or another tried a med about which we had fears-- or which had down-sides-- and we had to go ahead and take a chance. It's a calculated risk-- you weigh the possible harms against the possible benefits-- and go with what you find. Maybe right now you dont' feel the benefits of the available drugs outweigh the risks-- and perhaps you are right.

But people run out of ideas-- they realize that they don't have any more suggestions, or advice. Then it's hard to respond, other than to say that they understand.

Sometimes there's just no one else who knows what to say-- there are lots of reasons, other than babble's being stupid, that might cause you not to get replies.

And as for deregistering, you don't really need to. You just need to stop coming, and that's that. No one will bother you and you won't get any spam because you signed up here. And the good thing is-- if you have a change of heart sometime, you can come back easily.

I just wanted some opinions of Risperdal that is all. I wanted to see who took Risperdal for anxiety and or bipolar. I am irritated because I cannot decide what to do here. I took Risperdal with great results at .25 mgs but it did not help my anxiety and my /Dr. said to go to up .50 but then I started having these weird flash spots in my vision like if someone was hypoglycemic and they freaked me out so I went off it. Now my Dr. is trying to get me to try Seroquel. I just need some anxiety and mood relief and I wanted some opinions on Risperdal for anxiety and I can find a ton of opinions on the web but mostly for bipolar..i just feel lost. sorry.

I am agitated because I've spent and wasted so much time researching this med looking for reassurance that it wont cause a seizure but it is not out there. I am agitated because the Risperdal wore off now and I spend too much time on this dumb message boards. I deleted so many and cannot delete this one, facebook, diabetes forum, crazy meds, healthboards, epilepsy board, high blood pressure board, tinnitus board and who knows what else bec9ause I don't remember what else but they were all so time consuming and driving me nuts! I wanted this one deleted but they wont delete so I thought if I went on here swearing they would ban me but instead I was told to change my password to something obscure and I tried to but the link never came with the password reset link so yeah here I am again, sorry.

You seem manic.

What medication are you trying to find out about seizure risk?

You have a lot of anxiety about having a seizure. Don't you think being on the right anticonvulsant might alleviate this anxiety?

>Risperdal wore off now and I spend too much time on this dumb message boards

Is your mind very active?

No apologies necessary.

Eric

I understand your frustration. I also google a lot and then when I find so much I get overwhelmed and come here for just one boards opinion. As for the resperidol. I've not taken it. Phillipa

Have you ever tried an old school antipsychotic at a really, really, really low dose?

Perphenazine, triavil (that's Elavil plus perphenazine), loxapine, low dose navane...

...or maybe something else entirely. I don't know why, but I randomly thought of Limbitrol (low dose Librium plus Elavil in one capsule).

I don't like having to take my antipsychotic (Abilify). I have to take a high dose because I'm apparently full on Bipolar.

With diabetes, mood issues, female gender, and your age involved, I'd want to try something that's not an antipsychotic first. At the very least, you should take antioxidants with your antipsychotic.

Seroquel xr isn't terrible, and the tardive dyskinesia risk is probably lower than Risperdal's.

Good luck!

AFAIK people on this board are neither professionals nor paid.
