interesting National Geographic this month

Huge article in it about new science on the brain in the February edition. Just got my edition. Here's a link to the same article on their website, though I think there's more to read in the magazine.

As I've said before when I post website links, I'm on a mobile device and sometimes my link doesn't work on regular computers. But I think this one should work.

Poser this link words. Very interesting. Don't know that I'd want a hole in my head though. How scary for the lady with the stroke. Phillipa

All this stuff they're doing with the brain just fascinates me. Its leading up to a revolution, I do believe. But I think that revolution is still at least 50 years away. The current mechanism antidepressant hasn't really changed over the past 50 years. Its all about increasing neurotransmitters or blocking the receptor for that neurotransmitter.

Maybe in 50-100 years, we'll have like mental super humans through new brain treatments.

Assuming the world doesn't completely destroy itself by then.

By then there may be no doctors either? No insurance, no care? Phillipa

Its hard to have any idea about it.
But I just read through the article I posted, and it not as interesting as the article in the magazine. The magazine version has more illustrations that make it more interesting.
