I apologize for another post but here goes.
I've been on .25 since Dec 28th. I went up only 1/4 at a time and am currently at,.25 plus 1/2.It seems when I increase I get hyper, giddy, happy, talkative and just generally wired feeling.
I am taking this fit anxiety and mood stabilization but no relief from anxiety Judy yet but am expecting some relief per my Dr. At the .50 level.
I guess I just don't understand why I feel these things and if I should worry our is it normal?

I don't have a definitive answer for you. I will say that Risperdal can produce anxiety early in treatment. It most often disappears by itself.Are you taking Risperdal for depression? Perhaps you are discovering what it is like to live without depression. However, there may be other explanations. I am not familiar with mania being triggered by Risperdal. I found only one report on Medline describing this, but it did not include an abstract.

I've been told I am bipolar 2 but in conclusive but I definitely have an issue with my moods and anger outbursts or what I call short patience. I've not bickered with my husband in a good two weeks! I've thought that too that maybe I'm just happy and a little less reserved on this med but what ever it is I really like it but it scares me too because so unfamiliar.
