if taking a benzo ..klonopin/Ativan....at 2 mg. if it no longer works at all...will you still have to wean off ..or the fact that it does not work any longer require weaning?

I think there are actually people that don't need to ween off. You and I probably won't be one of them.

If you've been on it as little as a month you may have to ween. Whatever you do, let your doctor know.

Before I knew about benzos I just started and stopped them. Some how I also think there is an emotional component to them?

that's a complicated question lol, tolerance builds to the drug that is being taken, the body adapts to the medication, equilibrium....so yes in complicated terms, it may have to be weaned because even If you don't feel it, its still effecting systems...and when its stopped there's reaction, and more jitters and anxiety would increase....

that's all I could think of ... lol
