Was riding bike and ran into a old neighbor who had been on zoloft last time saw for fibromyalgia and had tried cymbalta & lyrica and couldn't take them. Inadvertantly got pregnant with twins and the ob-gyn took her off the zoloft 50mg cause of pregnancy. Was depressed about being pregnant as already had 3 children. Now 7 months after the twins arrived we talked. Said she is no longer taking any meds as when went back to zoloft didn't feel it did a thing so stopped it and takes nothing for the fibromyalgia other than advil or motrin if pain. So someone else went off meds. Asked if had withdrawal she said no. Thought a good story. She also said on the meds she had gained weight and since being off them lost it all automatically. Phillipa

Thanks for the story. I went up to 175lbs on zoloft and remeron. Tapered off both, and now down to 140lb. Lost it over a 1 1/2 yr period. I didnt diet, but Im active, and tend to eat healthy when not on antideppresants. I tend not to eat at all if I am anxious or depressed.
