MST treatment update

Posted by gilmourr on March 13, 2013, at 14:52:35

10 treatments in at the moment.

Still very modest changes at best, looking for a lot more to happen, or at least that's what I was expecting.

14 more treatments to go max. I'm having good seizures (duration) so hopefully it comes through in the end. I've read 12-15 treatments you begin to really see changes...so I'm banking on that.

100 mg of zoloft everyday, and other than some weight gain not really.

Though there are still 14 treatments to go.

Would you say progress is being made? Phillipa

I've been interested in MST. Are you having it done as part of a clinical trial?

I really don't believe any progress has been made. It's unfortunate but I'm still optimistic that it CAN work after reading the journals. Just, I know when I am experiencing a response. And if this is the response, it's balls. Though the team of professionals are GREAT where I'm getting it done. Best team of people I've met through any psych service.

Nice! I've looked for clinical trials in america that are doing it and couldn't find any. The only ones I saw were in Canada. Is that where you are? If you're in the US do you have any contact info for this clinical trial?

12th treatment finished. I have started to feel a bit more consistently level. I'm by no means content or energetic, but I don't tend to swing really low anymore. Maybe it's a good sign?
