Gadchik I get a bunch of daily emails from sites like this too. What drew you to this particular one? I get psychiatric times. The Ones I post links from and just simple WebMd which I normally don't read. P?

Hey P! I get weekly alerts from google with articles about diff psych issues and this link was an article about benzos. I never do daily just weekly,as that drives me crazy trying to keep up. Btw, did u ever read that a small amt of melatonin at night, as youre tapering benzos allows a smooth withdrawal free taper, and helps you to go faster? I have the melatonin but am afraid to take!

I asked a pharmacist about the melatonin, and he said it would be safe to try,yet Im still scared...maybe I will try a crumb one night, and not take full benzo dose.

Hey Laney, havent seen you on here in awhile. How have you been? Dont you have 2 sons? You warned me about not underestimating the pain that would come when my son moved away for college. I appreciated ur advice. Ive done good, lots of sadness though, and it was painful too.

Signed up. Funny how mental illness is our problem but reading about it makes for such a good hobby.

Thats funny Phil! Its true, my hubby shakes his head at all the "research" I do. He just takes his zoloft, and never thinks twice about it.He says it works and he never questions it.

Hi Gadchik,

I'm doing ok. Thanks for asking. Yes, two boys 19 and 22. One in college and the other waiting on a job. I'm a lot better now with all the changes. It took time but I trust them and know it's all part of the circle of life. One still lives at home but more than half the time he's at his brothers or at a friends' spending the night. But they are good boys! I did a good job - not perfect - but good!

I keep in touch with Jan on Facebook but like to come back occasionally to check in and see what everyone's up to?

Hope things are going well with you!

I have always stayed away from Facebook. Never have had an interest in it, although lots of people stay in touch that way.
