Lou

Posted by Phil on January 28, 2013, at 21:48:39

With no moderation here it seems that some attacks aimed at Lou are getting pretty vicious. More and more people including me have been all over Lou.
I have to call a truce 'for me'. I'm beginning to see Lou as the 'odd kid' on the playground that everyone picks on and laughs at. I hated seeing that as a kid. It made me sad.
Not my place to tell anyone else what to do but for me I'm just going to let his posts stand on their own.
He may well be living a life that I wouldn't want to live. Trapped in delusions that have raged for years. I just can't attack this guy anymore.
I understand discussing the med side but calling someone a psychopath and other names, I don't want to be like that. Not anymore.
And Lou, for my actions in the past, you have my apologies. I think your intentions are good.
I think you are a good person. And if I disagree with you, I'll disagree with respect. How will I ever get well if I can't even do that?

yea phil....i've read his posts over again, he can't help it...even various feedback to change the way he posts .... he doesnt get it. But still....maybe lets see what he would do if someone actually responds to his post like he has in the questions...like perfect awnser...wonder how he would react...maybe it would make his day.

Lou does have some insight....its just hard to understand his perspective, i wished i could read minds and figure out what he's thinking. And of course me....who knows what im thinking, i post crazy sh*t all the time. lol

heads up lou, your the top of the coin...

I'm just speaking for me because I wanted him banned not long ago. But Lou has been Lou as long as I've known him. But tbh, it reminded me of the playground at school. When I saw a kid being hammered everyday I would try to get to know him. I'm not saying I was always Mr nice guy but I tried.

Lou's opinions on meds, the way he presents them, I disagree with and could see anyone disagreeing for good cause. I think I just wanted to say, for me, he deserves respect as a person who may be on a road much harder than mine.

I can't know how Lou processes things but if someone called me a psychopath, and meant it, I think I might feel pretty hurt. Especially if, in my mind, I thought I was trying to help.

Lou is really a good guy. He has his ideals and I respect him for this. He doesn't waver he holds his beliefs and everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. Phillipa

Easiest thing for me is to ignore him. I find his posts bizarre. I'm sure he's a troubled kid, but I'm not sure I want a troubled kid in my life right now.

Friends,
It is written here,[..with no moderation here..].
On the contrary, there is moderaton that is plainly visible. Mr Hsiung even redirects posts and has started a thread about him meeting with members in different cities that he will be travleing to. He has blocked a poster here, and changed the picture on the top of the pages here. This shows an active involvment of Mr Hsiung with the site.
Mr Hsiung and his deputy now and his past deputies can control the content here by posting prohibitions to me while allowing others to not have to be accountable for posting here what is prohibited to me to post. This could lead to two standards in this community and I see that Phil does not want to be part of that as he wrote,[...calling someone...names...I don't want to be like that...].
The fact that posts that defame me are allowed to stand by Mr Hsiung and his deputy can hinder one's attempt to be healed as Phil writes,[...How will I ever get well if I can't...] .
You see, what I have been writing about here is a way to have a new heart, a new spirit, and be healed, and as long as hate is allowed here to stand, as Phil writes, how can one come out of the darkness of depresssion?
Now Mr Hsiung wants you to try to trust him in that he states that he does what will be good for this community as a whole. I think Phil sees otherwise. Thank you Phil.
Lou

Show me one example of a recent post of yours that was prohibited by Dr. Bob. Your post to 10derHeart on Administration was allowed to stand, despite its being a personal attack upon her as you accused her of having hatred towards other posters and likened her behavior to the beating of Rodney King. She left the forum because of you. You might want to rethink your position on selective enforcement. You are being allowed to post with impunity things that would surely have had you and anyone else blocked in the past.

I do not believe that you are insane. You appear to know the difference between right and wrong and are able to exercise self-control. I am not as tolerant of your posting behaviors as others seem to be. You are as accountable for the content of your posts as I am of mine. I look forward to a progressively greater moderation of these forums. I would gladly be blocked for my post directed at you on the Faith forum if it meant that you were to be blocked for yours directed at 10derHeart on the Administration board.
