Hi Michael.

I have not combined those two drugs, but I imagine they would be prescribed for GAD. There are no safety issues as far as I know. Lyrica is a sort of weird drug. It can produce a robust therapeutic effect in the begining, but poop-out soon afterwards. Hopefully, you won't encounter this problem.

Have you been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder?

Hi Diego...I am late adding my post but just wanted to share with you that Lyrica makes me crazy, paranoid, psychotic, more depressed...and I've read that's not a terribly uncommon reaction. But I should add that a lot of people have positive experiences with it. We're definitely all different.

For me Neurontin was soooo much better...had none of those reactions and it absolutely helped my anxiety. Problem is I got tolerant to it. But then, I am very, very prone to developing tolerance and doing so quickly. I've said this before I think in some post, but I asked my pdoc why he thought that was and he said I must have a great, efficient liver. I said oh, then I need to become a very heavy drinker. ;)

Anyways, have you tried the combo with the Lyrica? How did it go if you did?
