What happened to the institutionlized TB patients. Seriously. I know that since there is a lot of tx resistant TB in the jails that a lot of same meds were given but don't remember seeing happy prisoners. Since they also took those meds why I wonder didn't they have dietary restrictions?. Now have to google & see what meds are given for TB today and if they changed. Sorry to get off target just have always wondered this. Phillipa

scott did you know that nicotine is a MAOI, the wikipedia says it acts on the dopamine system, and MAOI for people who are moderate to heavy smokers. It's that reward feeling you when you smoke....either smoke it fast for quick nicotine or smoothe and slow puff....its like drinking, some people slam down drinks quick at bars, others sit and socialize and sip it slowly...sometimes that's more pleasureable because either eating, or socializing.

I really wish my doctor would at least look into MAO's but she keeps telling me there complicated with her....yet alot of people here take Parnate ALOT.

That was a good read. Thanks Scott. I think Nardil may be the only AD I haven't tried. I am a fan of Parnate.
